Jayatirtha Seva Sangh

Jayatirtha Seva Sangh (JSS), a non-profit organisation was set up to benefit the needy in the Madhwa community and society at large by way of providing financial assistance.

During the year 2019 Jayatirtha Seva Sangh provided significant support to the victims of disastrous Floods in Sangli and nearby areas. Subsequently, during the Covid period JSS distributed groceries, medicines and provided monetary assistance to needy Madhwa families. Around 200 families were benefited during the Covid period. This was entirely possible due to the instant support by a large number of contributors in response to appeals through word-of-mouth and social media.
VISION
  • Contribute towards building a progressive Madhwa community, leading in every walk of life.
  • Establish strong community bonding to achieve self-reliant support system to address specific genuine needs.
MISSION
  • Create a transparent and efficient platform wherein Madhwa community members can seek assistance - when in need and those who can support, can offer such help.
  • Provide financial assistance in pre- identified areas like Elderly help, Children education, medical emergencies.
  • Gradually expand the activities to reactively as well proactively cater to other requirements such as career guidance, employment opportunities, social wellbeing, etc. to the Madhwa community through JSS’s network and infrastructure
